The Tools of the Digital Classicist

- This first session, moderated by Mathilde Verstraete, will review the various digital tools and techniques developed in the context of classical studies. Their use in a pedagogical context will also be reviewed.

The Greek Anthology Project: Developments and Issues
- 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. (CET)
- La Sorbonne, CELLF (1, rue Victor Cousin), salle 19-20 (Escalier I, 2e étage)
- This session, moderated by Marcello Vitali-Rosati, Servanne Monjour and Mathilde Verstraete, will focus on the technical developments of the project. This meeting will also be an opportunity to demonstrate the issues that come with a digital edition while broaching the topic of different levels of editing and the specificities of each one.

The Greek Anthology Between Valorisation and Visualization

- This workshop, held by Servanne Monjour, will address the theoretical and practical issues of research data valorisation, through the visualisation process notably. By using the tools developed by the KnightLab, participants will be asked to appropriate the rewriting and remediation logic of the Anthology's lore.

eScriptorium Workshop
- 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. (CET)
- La Sorbonne, CELLF (1, rue Victor Cousin), salle 19-20 (Escalier I, 2e étage)
- This workshop, held by Alix Chagué (inria, Université de Montréal), invites participants to discover the eScriptorium platform and the potentialities offered by kraken to transcribe and annotate Greek manuscripts. After a theoretical introduction to the uses and challenges of HTR, participants will be asked to try their hand at the platform and to train a model adapted to the Greek Anthology corpus.

Collaborative editing of the Greek Anthology

- This final meeting -- in the form of a datathon -- will build on the tools presented in the previous sessions. The objective will be to simultaneously and collaboratively edit the platform in order to enrich it on the one hand, and to bring out possible problems and/or technical improvements to be implemented on the other hand.
